Natural Disasters: The main natural hazards in Central Highlands and in Lam Dong province could be counted for drought in dry season and flood in rainy season. There are also other hazards, which have been occurred in history, such as landslide, extreme wind, hail, extreme rainfalls and extreme hot days. According to historical data, there is low possibility for direct impact of tropical storms to Lam Dong province, including Don Duong district, however, the tropical storm occurring in East Sea still impacts on local climate and cause to extreme rainfalls such as in years of 1987, 1994, 1999 and 2000; The extreme rainfalls and high intensity of rainfalls could highly cause to landslide in mountain areas, (for instance, events occurred in Don Duong district in 2010 after extreme flood); The drought has been occurred in Lam Dong province but with less extent than other Highland province, because it special local climate. However, there are several droughts which have been recorded in history, for example, drought in 2002 impacted on Bao Loc, Bao Lam, Da Huoai, Da Teh, Cat Tien with less water for irrigation; and drought in 2015 impacted 217 reservoirs in Lam Dong province, including Tan Hien and Cong Doan reservoirs, and many of such reservoirs are not enough water for irrigation;
