Such results may be achieved through the theming of an area by linking it to a famous personality who may have lived in the area, such as a painter (constable country such as Dedham Vale, valley of the Stour river and East Bergholt), a writer or poet (Hemingway and Cuba or Wordsworth associated with the Lake District and Grasmere), a television series or film, a historical era (Pompeii) or seasonal beauty (New England in the autumn). There are many other themes, of course, but all need to be developed with a creative flair for the tastes of the potential visitor as well as the acceptability of the theme to the media.
