You came to who-knows how long later, your head pounding and your mind foggy. "Ah... ow..." You moaned, feeling your cheek pressed against something soft. You were on your side, that much you could tell, with your eyes still closed. No... Wait, my eyes are open. Am I blind-folded?! You realized with alarm, just as the sound of a door creaking open echoed across the room. You sat up - which was no easy task, since you quickly discovered that your hands were bound in front of you - and blindly looked around. "Hello? Who's there?" You called out bravely, even though that was the opposite of how you felt at the moment. The floor creaked and moaned underneath the person's shoes for several steps until they stopped to your left. You turned your head in the direction of your kidnapper. The thing you were on - A bed! You discovered too late - groaned under the weight of someone climbing on beside you. "____, you are awake now, da?" Your heart froze mid-beat. "Ivan?!" You squeaked out in shock, your covered eyes going wide. The sweet voice laughed. "Da, ____. I am glad you aren't hurt too badly. Does your head hurt?" You couldn't answer him, to shocked to even breathe. Ivan... Why did he tie me up?! Why did he knock me out?! Thoughts raced around your still throbbing head. "I-Ivan, please untie me..." You said nervously, laughing humorlessly at the end. "I'm kind of scared, not being able to move or see."Silence."... Ivan, are you still here?""____, I'm afraid I can't untie you."You felt the blood drain from your face. "W-why not?" You stammered. "Because," the Russian man said, as the mattress groaned beneath him as he leaned forward. "If I did that, you might run away, ____."You didn't understand. You couldn't think of any reason to why this was happening. "Ivan, please!" You yelled almost desperately. "This is scaring me! Untie me, now!""Nyet, _____, I won't!"You felt something hard strike you fiercely across the face, causing you to cry out in pain and topple over onto your back. "Aah! I-Ivan, y-you hit me!" You exclaimed in utter disbelief. Russia moved again on the bed. You felt the shifting of the mattress as he placed both hands on either side of your body. "Da, my little sunflower," he said quietly, all the sweetness from before gone. You felt tears well up at the corners of your eyes; that slap had really hurt. "Why, Ivan?" you asked him, stiffling a sob that was building in your chest. He leaned down until his ashy gray hair was tickling your cheek. "I told you why, ____," he whispered into your ear. "I don't want my little sunflower to run away from me." An invollentary shiver ran down your back. Russia's gloved hand gently touched your injured cheek. You cringed away in pain, letting out a tiny whimper. His hand hovered for a moment before reaching behind your head to tug at the knot holding the blindfold together. It came undone with one jerk, and Ivan pulled the cloth away from your eyes. You could see at last, first noticing his entrancing violet eyes that seemed to glow in even this low light. Then you spotted the canopy over the bed you both were on. Once your eyes travelled back to Russia, you felt more tears rising. Once they spilled over, he brushed them away impatiently with his thumb and smiled that smile down at you."Now, ____, you shall become one with Russia, da?"Your heart stopped - quite literally this time. "W-what?" You asked, terror spiking in that one syllable. Ivan's expression didn't falter - in fact, his eyes seemed to glow. "You shall become one with Russia, ____..." He bent forward and pressed his lips firmly to yours. Shocked, you didn't react in the slightest. Utter fright and horror was consuming you from within. Ivan, please, stop it! You begged silently, squeezing your eyes shut. This isn't you... This isn't you!!!Once Ivan pulled back for air, his large hands grasped at the front of your military attire. Palms cold and clammy, you clenched your hands as tightly together as possible and turned your head away from Ivan. The chilly air met your chest - unwelcome, unforgiving. Someone... Please... You gritted your teeth, praying that the building scream in your throat wouldn't explode and anger the Russian man. Someone please, help me!! When it was finally over, you mutely laid on top of the covers, blankly staring at the wall opposite to you. Ivan finished getting dressed, wrapping his pink scarf back around his neck. He glanced over his shoulder at you, smiling that smile. "_____, it wasn't so bad, da?" He said with a carefree tilt of his head. You said nothing, your eyes dull and filled with a silent, emotional pain. "Da... you will get used to it.
