Tuấn: Ok. English’s formal dinner often starts at 6’30p.m to 8’30p.m. Foods often are one meat two vegetables and pudding cake : one in two vegetables always default is patato.
Thọ: oh, what kind of meat do they often eat?
Tiến: Beef, lamb or pork grilled and eat with gravy.
Thái: Do they eat them from Monday to Sunday?
Tuấn: oh, No. it can be said that the traditional dinner. Beside, they can change foods such as Spaghetti nood, curry, salad, apple cake, ice cream…
Thọ: How about English formal dinner etiquette?
Tiến: In meals, they use knife and fork. Fork is hold in left hand and knife is hold in right hand.
Tuấn: That’s right! If you do the opposite or don’t use knife to eat, they will say you don’t know polite.
Thái: What else?
Tiến: If you are American, you can use hands to eat Pizza, patato chips or other fast food.
Tuấn: But in England, it rarely happens, specialy in restaurant. You must use knife and fork in all, except soup.
Thọ: I think English formal dinner is quite simple but etiquette is very interesting.
