* Responsible for Site Manufacturing Engineering Operations Support which include the followings:
* Manufacturing Engineering Divisions Organization Integration:
- Development of Departmental Vision, Mission and Value integrating Manufacturing Engineering divisions which includes SMT Equipment, Process/Product, and Industrial Engineering to meet overall company goals and objectives
- Factory Operation Technical Capability and Team Development
- Consolidate and develop resources strength, engineering expectation and overall technical development responsibilities through staffs training, technology exploration and evaluation and management skills development
- Provide Departmental management leadership to ensure factory operation meet required products quality, output, productivity and cost requirements
- Providing Industrial Engineering support at Site Level which include, resources planning guidance development, equipment/machinery installation, the asset utilization, productivity improvement, best practices proliferation, manufacturing standardization, Plant layout Proposal and performance monitoring and goal / target setting
* Technical Development
- Responsible for Factory Operation technical development to support manufacturing and design challenges which include PCBA assembly layout design development and consolidation, technical team resources hiring and training, continue technology upgrade Equipment and Manufacturing Technology as and when required
- Responsible for development of PCBA and product manufacturing methodology,rework requirement, chemistry and indirect material selection, evaluation and recommendation
- Responsible for equipments selection, evaluation and recommendation for PCBA and product assembly processes, and other accessories equipment associated to product and component inspection, rework, reconditioning and packaging
* Product Management
- Responsible for PCBA and Product safety handling which include WIP transportation and storage design requirement, in addition to manufacturing waste handling, recycle and disposal program
- Responsible for Product labels, Packaging design and Qualification
- Responsible for defining Product Process Flow and relevant product assembly instruction development which include generic processes, product specific and equipments set up, operating and preventive maintenance documentation
- Responsible for Product Assembly Quality such as assembly and test Yields Improvement and initiate continuous improvement project, driving to meet overall customer expectation in terms of cost, quality and delivery requirement
- Responsible for Overall Assembly Equipments Maintenance and Calibration requirement in accordance to factory defined Preventive Maintenance and calibration program
* Operation Support
- Responsible for Capacity Planning development which includes resource planning guidance development, asset installation and utilization, productivity improvement, performance monitoring and goal / target setting - Responsible for Lean Manufacturing program leadership which include factory floor layout optimization and proposal, manufacturing standardization, best practices proliferation, continuous improvement in factory scrap and waste reduction program, head count optimization, machine utilization and efficiency improvement
- Responsible for Factory Shop Floor product and material traceability program development and implementation working in support of Factory MIS department
