The island is known for its beautiful countryside with terraced rice fields and active volcanoes . You can also find many temples, beautiful beaches, shopping and nightlife on the island.

Places in Bali
The capital of the province of Bali is Denpasar. In this city you find the international airport of the island. Near Denpasar you find Kuta. This is the most touristy town of Bali. If you're there, you see all around you hotels, restaurants and shops. You will also find some nice (beach) clubs. Bali is popular with Australians who go to Bali to surf. Especially on Kuta beach you will see many surfers. If you want to go out every day, want to sunbathe and want to go surfing, you stay the best in or around Kuta. Near Kuta lies the town of Seminyak. This place is more luxurious. Good shops, restaurants and clubs can be found here. Canggu is one of our favorite spots in Bali. You can surf, good entertainment and great food. If you want to learn more about the fascinating culture of Bali, you can go to Ubud. Ubud you can visit a number of local markets and shows. Near Ubud are some beautiful rice fields and the famous Monkey Forest. The best known and also most beautiful temple is the Tanah Lot temple. This temple is situated on top of a rock in the sea. Tanah Lot is only accessible when the tide is low. At the end of the afternoon, you can see a beautiful sunset from here. Another fun place is the coastal town of Lovina. In Lovina you can get on a boat to see dolphins. are tables where freshly caught fish is served on the Jimbaran beach.

To do in Bali
You can spend a few weeks in Bali without getting bored. Shopping, surfing, sunbathing, visiting temples, diving, entertainment and great food are a few of the activities you can do.
