Speaking of Nha Trang Province, it reminds everyone of long charming beaches, blue sea, and warm dinners by the sea watching sunset. It has attracted large numbers of not only vietnamese but also international tourists and backpackers around the world for holidays, vacations and honeymoons. There are many things to do in Nha Trang both by night and by day, but most of them will be focused around the beach and nearby islands. Nha Trang's also a relatively easy place to get around by bicycle, and the local here are very friendly whom you may ask for the directions or recommendations. Here I would like to introduce and recommend you some places which are most worth visiting for Nha Trang trip.
As Nha Trang Bay is an “area of highest national priority” for marine conservation and coastal tourism in Vietnam. The first activity should be checked in your list is snorkelling and diving trips which are the most famous thing to do in Nha Trang. In deed, the marine life and coral here are diversified and plentiful which will amaze you. You can easily find some popular operators for these activities on Tran Phu Street and need not to book any reservations in advance.
The most convenient way to explore Nha Trang city is to travel around by bike or motorbike. All of the sights are easily reached by bike. A half day should be spent on cycling along the coast to Hon Chong promontory, or the old railway bridge. On the way back, you should go though town to Long Son pagoda and the Cathedral. With cycling, you can stop by some restaurants to try local cuisines such as fresh seafood, squid pancake, rive vermicelli with jellyfish, rice noodles with fish paddies, and etc…
The next destination is Vinpearl Amusement Park which is the playground for locals and international counterparts. The entrance fee is about $25, but you can get cheaper in some shops on the roadway before the large Cable Car parking area. The cable car ride is interesting which covers about 3km over water. Plenty of things to do here, such as visiting the aquarium and the dolphin show which attractes almost everyone. Water rides are very popular with young tourists, and do not worry as there are lockers for personal items safety. It is highly recommended that you should start the trip to Vinpearl early in the morning, then plan to stay a while and see all the shows.
Last but not least, you should not forget to visit the Cham ruins at Po Nagar which is the most impressive remnants of Cham kingdom. The complex of Po Nagar consists of 4 towers which were built from the 9th century. It can easily be reached by bike from the tourists areas.
I hope you would have a great time when deciding to spend your days off in Nha Trang and following my recommendations.
