Please note that this A1586 iPhone 6 model -- which is compatible with FDD-LTE bands 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 13, 17, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 28, 29 and TD-LTE bands 38, 39, 40, 41 (as well as both CDMA EV-DO and GSM connectivity) -- is sold locked to Sprint in the United States, unlocked and without a SIM in the United States, and unlocked on a variety of carriers in the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, and other global markets.

The iPhone 6 models, regardless of network compatibility, have a 4.7" (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch IPS LED-backlit 1334x750 native resolution (326 ppi) "Retina HD" display, dual cameras -- a rear 8 megapixel, 1080p "iSight" camera with 1.5 micron pixels, an f/2.2 aperture, and "autofocus with Focus Pixels" (phase detection autofocus capability) and more as well as a front 1.2 megapixel, 720p "FaceTime" camera.

The iPhone 6 is available in three metallic color options -- "silver," which has a white glass front and a silver colored aluminum back (pictured); "gold," which has a white glass front and a gold colored aluminum back; and "space" gray, which has a black glass front and a medium toned gray aluminum back (gold color option discontinued September 9, 2015). Regardless of color, each uses a "unibody" design with gently rounded sides reminiscent of the earlier iPod touch 5th Gen, but with glass that beautifully curves toward the edges for a "completely smooth and continuous surface." It also includes the "Touch ID" fingerprint sensor embedded in the "home" button.

This iPhone 6 model is powered by a 1.4 GHz 64-bit "Apple A8" processor and has 1 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB of flash storage (128 GB option discontinued September 9, 2015). It also supports 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE (4G), and NFC for Apple Pay financial transactions. It has a bottom-mounted headphone jack and uses a "Lightning" port to connect to a Mac, PC, dock, or power adapter.

Apple estimates that the iPhone 6 provides "up to" 50 hours of audio playback, 14 hours of talk time on 3G, 10 hours of Internet use on 3G, 10 hours of Internet use on LTE, 11 hours of Internet use on Wi-Fi, 11 hours of video playback and 250 hours of standby time.

In the US, this A1586 iPhone 6 originally was available with 16 GB, 64 GB, or 128 GB of storage for US$199, US$299, or US$399, respectively, with a two-year contract and locked to Sprint or US$649, US$749, or US$849 with the same storage contract-free and factory unlocked. On September 9, 2015, Apple discontinued the gold color option and 128 GB capacity and dropped the price of the remaining 16 GB and 64 GB capacity options in silver and space gray to US$99 and US$199 with a two-year contract or US$549 or US$649 unlocked and contract free. A variety of carrier subsidized and lease options also are available.
