opic: some people believe that university student should be required to attend classes. Others believe that going to class should be optional for students which point of view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to explain your answer.

Universities are the places for studennts to get academic knowledge in a certain area. Today, students have many ways to acess to information and knowledge that they need for their jobs in the future. It is believed that attending classes should be optional for them instead of being compulsory. This will be proven by taking an account flexible hours and selfstudy skill.

As the most important aspect, attending classes through media system gives university students flexible hours for their learning. As an example, modern students are very busy with their outdoor activities such as part – time jobs, playing sports, taking part in clubs so they feel more comfortable to established their own timetable for themselves. This example clearly shows that it is really convenient to let each student choose the class time for their busy life in place of forcing them to go to classes and missing other helpful activities. When looking at this example, there is no doubt that the choice of whether coming to classes or not is up to students.

Moreover, not attending periods directly gives many chances for students to develop their selfstudy skill. To illustrate, each student has to shape a studying style to catch on the knowledge their teachers deliver in the classes. Finding motivations and ways how to get information quickly and efficiently are evidences for this skill. It is obvious that students’ skills can be improved a lot when student are right not to reach classes everday. From this, it can be concluded that attending classes should be not required.

After analyzing the areas of flexible hours and selfstudy skill, the forcement in taking part in classes is obviously not encouraged. It is expected that the student should not abuse this otherwise they can lose their knowledge easily and they should attend classes as possible as they can to take advantage of direct studying with teachers.
