Tone Keying. Where DC transport is not available, tone
keying is passed through to the Remotes. The Remotes
are normally setup to pass tone keying through to the
base stations. In the event that base stations require DC
keying, Remotes can be configured to detect tone keying,
provide a PTT contact, and remove guard tone.
ADDRESSING The LAN Port is assigned a unique IP
address by the user. ADC’s are shipped with a default IP
address.
DTMF Touch-tones can be used for remote control
when sites are not accessible via LAN. Since multiple
Remotes serve the same radio channel, an addressing
arrangement is used.
MOUNTING ADC Rack mounting requires 1.75 inches
(1U) of vertical space.
