“How would you like to have better thrust with less amps and less torque?”
We have been doing some testing and found a way to modify a 6x3x3 prop!

It is a simple mod that takes 30 seconds to do and a total of $2.
It does not require any special skills or knowledge.

Where it all started was we were trying to get more thrust from a lighter power system.
This was embarrassing because our hovering jet wasn’t getting the results we wanted.

We then thought that putting a larger motor and prop would solve it.
The plane was now heavy and shaky from all the torque roll. We got a few laughs during testing...

The big breakthrough was when we went the other way and search for “softer” props with less pitch.
This made us happy because the three bladed GWS 6x3x3 prop was something we had on hand.

We were proud to show it off because now the plane hovers with less amps, more thrust, and less torque roll!
The people at the field thought it was a whole new plane! That much improvement from JUST THE PROP!

The only modification we did was reinforce the inside of the GWS prop with duct tape to give more strength.
You can try this simple trick if you are looking to squeeze some more performance and lower your costs.

So in summary, reinforce the inside of a GWS 6x3x3 prop to easily increase your hovering performance.

“Flies SUPER and lets you learn at the same time”
I took the Su-30 out again today. What fun for a beginner to be able to fly and have time to recover when a pilot error occurs. I find that a lot of guys who fly, (at least in my area) don't have to much of an interest in helping newbies get up and going. So this is a plane that flies SUPER and lets you learn at the same time is just WOW. Thanks for all you do!
