The Academic Dean and University have a fiduciary responsibility to safe-guard
the public from unethical or harmful research. Likewise, they have responsibility to
ensure the overall dissertation process is operated in a consistent and professional
manner. Each doctoral student is different and each dissertation will be different;
however, the process must be consistent for each student and each dissertation.
The Academic Dean is charged with ensuring the highest academic standards of
business research are maintained during each phase of the dissertation process.
