Thanks, Gramps." Laxus muttered, quickly grabbing Gajeel and the books and leaving the office as quickly as possible. Makarov watched them go, sighing at how stupid his Grandson could be.Gajeel and Laxus walked over to where Levy sat, Pantherlily next to her. Gajeel briefly wondered where Jet and Droy were, thankful that they weren't around. Levy smiled at seeing them, looking a little surprised, if anything. Pantherlily outright glared at Laxus, though the blonde didn't react. He knew he deserved the cat's fury. "Yo, Shrimp, I need to ask you something." Gajeel said, sitting opposite to Levy and his irate cat. Laxus sat as well, avoiding eye contact with Pantherlily for obvious reasons. The feline looked ready to murder him."Um, sure, what's up?" Levy asked, although she already knew the answer."You've been researching dragon instincts and shit, right? Do you mind if we borrow your books?" He asked, staring at the few she had open on the table. They were thick books, and she had plenty of them. Gajeel was hating this already."Oh, sure! It's actually very interesting, I never knew dragons were so particular. Just don't ruin them, okay? They belong to the library." She replied, glad to see the two taking an interest in their situation. Lily had already told her everything, and she was glad to hear that they were doing better. However, she was still a little angry at Laxus, since he did still technically rape Gajeel. But as long as her friend was happy, she supposed everything would be okay."Yeah yeah, sure Shrimp." Gajeel said, gathering up the books and handing some to Laxus. "Damn, why do you have so many?""I wanted to make sure I had everything, since there really is a lot to learn. I planned on getting just a few for you, but then I started reading one and well…it got out of hand. I'm sure this will answer any questions you have, though." She replied, looking sheepish at admitting the truth. She had been curious, after hearing the Master's explanation. But after delving into research, she couldn't stop. She was known for being a bookworm, after all."Well thanks, I guess. This is going to take forever to read." Laxus said, gathering a stack in his arms and carefully standing."We'll go to my place." Gajeel said, shooting Lily a look that clearly said 'no arguments.' The cat looked unhappy but didn't say anything. Laxus agreed, feeling somewhat nervous about that. Still, Lily was Gajeel's friend, and Laxus supposed he would have to get used to him. "Well, see you later then, Shrimp.""Okay, bye guys! Have fun!" She said, giggling as the two grumbled unhappily. The mere sight of them walking away with stacks of books was funny. She looked at Lily who still looked angry, though he had every reason to.
