Some Important Pointers:
The most important element lies in the rotation of the methamphetamine while heating it in liquid form.
If you are using a jet lighter, the strength of the flame doesn't even matter as long as you rotate correctly.
Using a normal BIC-type lighter will require a slightly higher learning curve as the flame shouldn't touch the glass and heating isn't as even or efficient.
Try not to let the methamphetamine flow too far at either the end or front of the test tube.
If it goes to far towards the end where your fingers are, heating it might prove troublesome as it might be too hot for you to hold.
The front opening of the test tube is best supported by the glass stem of the bong for balanced control during rotation. Therefore, you do not want the methamphetamine to flow too much towards the front either
When rotating, try to keep the test tube at an even level.
Should you find the methamphetamine reaching too far backwards or forwards, during rotation, you may angle the test tube upwards or downwards, depending on the direction you want it to flow.
Always heat the tip of the re-crystallized methamphetamine in the direction you want it to flow when melted. Rotate in the opposite direction. For example, if you want the methamphetamine to flow leftwards in the test tube, heat the left part of the re-crystallized methamphetamine and rotate the test tube clockwise.

The Art of Smoking
Performing an optimal drag is dependent on several key factors.
The amount of methamphetamine used isn't really a critical factor, as there is no optimal amount of methamphetamine to be used, only the optimal method to smoke whatever amount is used, as the principles remain the same regardless the amount.

Methamphetamine in crystal form is in the solid state of matter. Exposed to heat, it melts and changes to the liquid state of matter. When heated to its melting point, it becomes the gaseous state of matter.
The methamphetamine vapors are really invisible, much like water vapor when water has been heated past to its boiling point. Similar to the steam that is produced when water vapor is cooled by the surround air, the methamphetamine vapors cools from the air flow produced when you inhale, creating the white smoke we are all familiar with.
The length and strength of inhalation is inversely correlated though. The stronger the inhalation, the shorter the duration and vice versa.
