Influence of pHAD. Initial tests were perfomed with a coagulant concentration of 500mg/L and 1mg/L of cationic polyelectrolyte. pH value of wastewater samples was modified between 5 and 10. The results showed that the best COD removal was achieved at pH 6. whereas the flocs did not settle down at high pH values due to their small size (table 2).
