Another example of phase change is found in the refrigerator, where a working fluid is
circulated in a closed circuit. Inside the refrigerator the fluid is forced to evaporate, thereby
cooling its surroundings. At the outside the vapour passes a condenser where the resulting
condensation heat is exchanged with the surroundings. The resulting convection can be
experienced by putting your hand above the grating at the back of the fridge.
