This bring me to the next issue. Among the ONCE (i-ONCE + k-ONCE) I suspect the popularity ranking of Twice members will be different versus the popularity ranking by general public.

For the hardcore ONCE who watched and followed closely all the variety shows and all the details of Twice members, I suspect the popularity ranking will be more evenly distributed (there will still be margins among members, just less pronounced at the top and at the bottom). This is because hardcore ONCE will get to know the 9 members better and they are likely to switch bias over time based on how they can relate to the personality and other attributes of the 9 members.

For the general public, visual and likeability are more important. Likeability comes from the aura and impression that the idol give off to the public. Many idols are beautiful but may not be endearing to the public. Attributes such as innocence, trustworthiness, honesty, approachability tend to score well with the public.

How many ONCE are there? If I am generous I would estimate the numbers of Casual ONCE to be in the region of X00,000. This is just based on the fan subscription to Twice v-live and instagram. How many of these people are hardcore ONCE who will actively follow all the performances, variety shows and read up on all kind of details about Twice? Typically I only see few hundreds of fans on internet forum such as OH and Reddit. Truth is many ONCE do not read and post on internet forums. Maybe there will be a lot more K-ONCE on Korean internet forum, like X0,000?

My point here is...most casual ONCE will be like the general public in their popularity ranking.

If we try to do a popularity ranking between the 2 genders I think the ranking will be different again. Tzuyu is likely to be more popular with the males. I am not saying female won't fangirl over Tzuyu, I am just saying a higher proportion of males will be highly attracted to Tzuyu vs females. At the moment, JYPE is not even showing off Tzuyu's model-like build in their styling for her.
