While not all suspicions and accusations of child abuse turn out to be true, all deserve serious attention and immediate action. Child abuse can rob kids of the joy of growing up and affect them negatively for years to come. But abuse doesn't have to ruin a child's life, as long as it's stopped and dealt with. The earlier abuse can be identified and stopped, the less destructive it will be. Healing from the abuse and dealing with its aftermath can also start that much earlier. So take any accusations of abuse seriously until you know for sure whether or not they're true. All children deserve to be heard, protected, and helped, no matter what. But, most of people didn’t speak out when they observed child abuse. There are some reasons for explaining the neglect, maybe because they do not want to involve in trouble, it’s not their job also. Our mission is to plan a strategy to make these people speak out but their safety is protected. Prevention as a StrategyPrevention efforts most commonly occur before a problem develops so that the problem itself, or some manifestation of the problem, can be stopped or lessened. Child abuse and neglect prevention covers a broad spectrum of services—such as public awareness, parent education, and home visitation—for audiences ranging from the general public to individuals who have abused or neglected a child. Community groups, social services agencies, schools, and other concerned citizens may provide these services. Typically, prevention activities attempt to deter predictable problems, protect existing states of health, and promote desired life objectives. More specifically, family support services, a major component of child abuse prevention, are designed to strengthen and stabilize families, increase parental abilities, provide a safe and stable family environment, and enhance child development. To prevent child abuse and neglect, programs may focus on one or several risk factors, such as:• Substance abuse treatment programs for women with children• Respite care programs for families with children who have disabilities• Parent education programs and support groups for families affected by domestic violence. Many prevention programs also focus efforts on strengthening child and family protective factors such as the knowledge and skills children need to help protect themselves from sexual abuse, the promotion of positive interactions between children and parents, and the knowledge and skills parents need to raise healthy, happy children.Below is some tactics of our strategies

Direct response: Intervention Programs
Child maltreatment is a serious problem that can have lasting harmful effects on victims. The goals for child maltreatment prevention is clear—to stop child abuse from happening in the first place. Child abuse is a complex problem rooted in unhealthy relationships and environments. Safe, stable and nurturing relationships and environments for all children and families can prevent child abuse. However, the solutions are as complex as the problem.
We can stop child abuse and neglect by reducing risk of it happening at all and increasing the factors that protect children. Preventing child maltreatment means influencing individual behaviors, relationships among families and neighbors, community involvement, and the culture of a society. Prevention strategies include effective programs that focus on individual behavior and attitude change, and also efforts that change policies and societal norms to create environments that support safe, stable, nurturing relationships for children and families. We need to implement effective prevention strategies to stop child abuse and neglect before it happens and to foster commitment to social change.
Below, we provide some statics, which is already used in foreign countries that are suitable for Vietnam to stop the child abuse.
Effective Programs to Stop Child abuse
Child-Parent Centers (CPCs) provide comprehensive educational and family support to economically disadvantaged children (beginning at age 3 and thru the third grade) and their parents. The program requires parental participation and emphasizes a child-centered, individualized approach to social and cognitive development. In a matched control trial, children participating in these centers had a 52 percent reduction in child maltreatment (Reynolds & Robertson, 2003).
The Safe Environment for Every Kid (SEEK) SEEK program screens parents of children ages 0-5 in pediatric primary care settings to identify parental exposure to partner violence, mental illness, or substance abuse and provide appropriate referrals. A randomized controlled trial showed significantly lower rates of child maltreatment in all the outcome measures: fewer child protective services reports, fewer instances of possible medical neglect documented as treatment non-adherence, fewer children with delayed immunizations, and less harsh punishment reported by parents.
Durham Family Initiative works to improve family well-being and reduce child maltreatment by coordinating services for high-risk families. Children who are at risk for maltreatment are identified through home visits after birth or through referrals from pre-kindergarten, schools, and clinics. The program also worked with community leaders and agencies to implement a shared information system, standardized data collection system, cross-training, and institutionalizing the integration of services across organizations. In a randomized controlled trial, this model resulted in a 57% reduction in child maltreatment in Durham county compared to control counties (Daro & Dodge, 2009).
Beside those statics above, promoting this campaign directly on mass media is a must-have tactic
Nowadays, people are influenced by mass media, such as : TV, internet (Facebook, Youtube, Instagram,…), radio, newspaper, magazines,…The more an advertising appears on mass media, the more concerns of people you will get, that’s why it costs an advertisement a lot!
To make people notice in your “child abuse” advertising, first of all, it must be impressive, directly have a strong impression on viewers. Then, it must be showed on golden time, dinner time,…the period of time that have high viewer rate to get the attention as much as possible. The popular channels also need to be focused on, it would be great if “child abuse” advertising is promoted on national channels, such as VTVs, or other popular channels like HTVs for example.
