A very common error in exit criteria occurs in every test case where data are saved to Excel. Best practice in ‘data loss prevention’ is to log the user ID, time/date stamp and device ID every time an Excel or similar file of data are exported from the system.
Recommendation: the exit criterion for every case of export of data to Excel should include creation of an audit trail with user ID, time/date stamp, and device ID.
