1 From the outer packaging remove all thecomponents including the metal cabinetcontaining the glass boiler.2 Before unpacking the individualcomponents, identify them on thecheck-list below.3 Remove the perspex viewing screen, item1 fig. 4 by using the finger recess to liftthe screen out of the lower cabinetgroove, then remove the internalpackaging which has protected the glassboiler during transit. Also sever thetemporary tie holding the two boilerretaining springs, item 29 in place.4 Remove the cabinet end plate, item 17 byunscrewing the six retaining screws and‘shake proof washers’. Similarly, unscrewthe six countersunk screws to remove thecabinet roof (item 6).5 Ensure that the sealing o-ring andstabilising o-ring are correctly positioned,as shown in Figure 3a. Position one of thecondensers WC48/M2 onto the left handvapour tube of the boiler with the distillateoutlet tube facing the front. See fig. 5.6 Looking inside the cabinet, identify thevinyl tubing assembly fitted with 5numbered screwthread connectors.Referring to fig. 5 make the followingconnections to the assembledcondenser:–Connect No. 2 to lower water inlet.Connect No. 4 to upper water outlet.
