But at the very core of Evil is our inability to do what is right because its the right thing to do! Because we may do good, as long as it doesnt effect our comfort zones but if it does, we immediately resort to carrying over our own will over others!

In fact, existence of evil is necessary for the proper functionality of universe.
There is a separate branch of philosophy called 'Theodicy' which supports the previous statement.
The concept of Theodicy was proposed by Gottfried Leibniz, who was one of the greatest and most influential scientists of all time.
Imagine that, only good thing are happening in the universe. No wars, no fear, no corruption; everyone is happy. Note that in such state, there is no place for motivation, creativity, challenges. In fact the world will become completely meaningless.
The more problems we have, more is the scope for improvement and innovations. Remember, many of the greatest inventions in the history are because of challenges, problems.
So, when all problems are solved, the world will end.
The universe we are living, is the best possible universe that God could create.
So, have faith in God and be happy. :)

They say, 'our father who art in Heaven' or something of the sort.. I don't know. Point is, many religions see God as a father. Now assume you're a father or mother. Would you rather stop your child from making mistakes and guide him ALL his/her life, or that they learn from their mistakes?
