5.6.3 Installing the Oracle Database Software
Starting with the first patch set for Oracle Database 11g Release 2 (11.2.0.2), Oracle Database patch sets
are full installations of the Oracle database software. You only need to install the current Oracle database
patch set. For more information about the current patch set, see SAP note 1431799.
For more information about how to install Oracle database 11.2 software, see SAP note 1524205.
CAUTION
Before starting to install the Oracle software, make sure that you have updated the installation
scripts as described in Updating the Oracle Installation Scripts [page 91].
Prerequisites
A graphical user interface (GUI), for example X11, is required for the Oracle database software
installation with runInstaller. For more information, see the documentation of your operating
system.
Procedure
1. Log on as the Oracle database software owner .
If you are already logged on as user root, you can switch to the Oracle database software owner,
user , by entering the following command:
su –
2. Change to the stage directory:
cd /oracle/stage/112_64/database/SAP
3. Make sure that umask is set to 022 by entering the following command:
umask 022
4. Make sure that the DISPLAY environment variable is set to :0.0, where
is the host on which you want to display the GUI of the Oracle Universal Installer
(OUI).

Bourne shell (sh) DISPLAY=:0.0
export DISPLAY
C shell (csh) setenv DISPLAY :0.0
Korn shell (ksh) export DISPLAY=:0.0
5. Start the OUI with the Oracle database software owner, user , as follows:
./RUNINSTALLER
For silent operation, enter this command:
./RUNINSTALLER -silent

6. Respond to the OUI as follows:

Điều kiện tiên quyết
Một giao diện người dùng đồ họa (GUI), ví dụ như X11, là cần thiết cho các cơ sở dữ liệu Oracle phần mềm
cài đặt với runInstaller. Để biết thêm thông tin, hãy xem tài liệu về điều hành
hệ thống.
Thủ tục
1. Đăng nhập như các chủ sở hữu phần mềm cơ sở dữ liệu Oracle.
Nếu bạn đã đăng nhập như người dùng root, bạn có thể chuyển sang chủ sở hữu phần mềm cơ sở dữ liệu Oracle,
người sử dụng, Bằng cách nhập vào lệnh sau:
su -
2. Chuyển tới thư giai đoạn:
cd / oracle / giai đoạn / 112_64 / cơ sở dữ liệu / SAP
3. Hãy chắc chắn rằng umask được thiết lập để 022 bằng cách nhập vào lệnh sau:
umask 022
4. Hãy chắc chắn rằng các biến môi trường DISPLAY được thiết lập để: 0.0, nơi
là các máy chủ mà bạn muốn hiển thị giao diện của Oracle Universal Installer
(OUI).

5. Bắt đầu OUI với chủ sở hữu phần mềm cơ sở dữ liệu Oracle, người sử dụng, Như sau:

-silent ./RUNINSTALLER
