Benefits of any organizational training are reciprocal. However, if employees feel that their training would be beneficial for both themselves and the organization, and there would be chances to use and practice what was gained from the training, their degree of willingness to participate in future organizational training, and the outcomes from training, are likely to be greater (Facteau et al., 1995). From a management point of view,training programmes are expected to provide numerous benefits to the organization including employee development, increased productivity and improved employee performance (Elangovan & Karakowsky, 1999; Gultek et al., 2006; Watson, 2008). From the view of the employee, outcomes of training might be beneficial to their jobs, careers and personal development objectives.
