to 568.2 mgL1, thehighestpaclitaxelcontentdetectedinthestudy.Theeffectofp-
amino benzoicacidontaxaneproductionwaslesspronounced,andthehighestyield
of paclitaxel(221.8 mgL1) wasobservedwhenthemediumwassupplementedwith
100 mM oftheprecursorincombinationwithmethyljasmonate.
Baccatin IIIwasnotdetectedundertheconditionsusedinthisexperimentandthe
investigated taxaneswerenotexcretedintothemedium.
