The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is proud to serve freshly baked pastries and delicious Fresh Food items at our company-owned retail locations. In an effort to deliver on our promise of a Total Quality Experience, we have created bakery and sandwich heating standards.

GUIDELINES | The Rules, Facts & Details
• Stores with the Panasonic NE-1054 microwave will post the Microwave Times Job Aid on their microwave
• Stores with the Panasonic NE-1054 microwave will follow the Microwave Times Job Aid when microwaving food items
• For stores receiving their sandwiches from Sky Chef®, the following breakfast sandwiches will always be served heated, unless otherwise requested by the Customer:
 Egg & Spinach Sandwich
 Egg White & Kale Sandwich
• Sky Chef® sandwiches will always be heated in their sealed, microwave-safe packaging
• Pastries and baked goods should be heated on a ceramic plate or in a paper bakery bag, never directly on the surface of the microwave
• To comply with Health Department standards, TMs are not permitted to reheat ANY item once it has been handled by the Customer

PROCEDURES | How We Follow Guidelines
SERVING OUR PRODUCT
1. Sky Chef® Breakfast Sandwiches: TMs will heat each sandwich upon serving, unless otherwise requested by the Customer. TMs will follow the Microwave Times Job Aid when heating items.

2. Bakery Items (mini and full sized): TMs will ask if the Customer would like their item warmed. TMs will follow the Microwave Times Job Aid when heating items.

3. Bagels: TMs will ask the Customer if they would like their bagel toasted. Toasting is recommended. Warming in the microwave is by Customer request only.
