ABOUT THE AUTHOR
P o l l y “Lee” Hammond is an illustrator and art instructor now living in Portland, Oregon. She
specializes in portrait drawing, but practices, teaches and enjoys all subjects and art mediums.
She was raised and educated in Lincoln, Nebraska. She built her career in illustration and art
instruction in the Kansas City area, and has l ived al l over the United States.
She is now concent rating on a career in seminar inst ruction in a variety of art techniques, art
product demonst rations, and writing more art instructional books. She is also expanding her writing
into short stories and children’s books, which she also illustrates.
“Lee” i s the mother of three children, Shelly , LeAnne and Christopher . She also has a
granddaughter, Taylor Marie.
