Therefore, the IPv6-only node must support DNS traffic over IPv6 and the configuration of IPv6-based DNS servers. For DirectAccess, this configuration is done through entries in the Name Resolution Policy Table (NRPT). If a name matches a configured name suffix in the NRPT (such as the intranet suffix), those name queries are sent to the IPv6 address of a DNS server, which is the DirectAccess server.
