“Secrets & Lights – A Mythical Jour

“Secrets & Lights – A Mythical Journey by Piaget”, is the new Piaget Haute Joaillerie and Haute Horlogerie collection, inspired by two legendary cities, Venice and Samarkand. It celebrates the mysterious and captivating light effects born of an invisible time: namely the countless hours devoted to each creation and echoing the long history of the Silk Route.

This collection comprising 93 jewellery creations and 38 watchmaking creations provides a transcendent expression of the creative freedom cherished by the Maison.
We present today the Emperador Coussin XL Large Moon Enamel watch, and its gem-set version.

Produced by Anita Porchet, the watch creates a dialogue between the work involved in colouring the enamel and one of the oldest decorating techniques, line engraving.
The 18K pink gold case, measuring 46.5 mm in diameter, opens on the hand-engraved gold dial featuring champlevé and miniature enamel depicting the Mythical Journey road.

The Manufacture Piaget 860P self-winding mechanical caliber powers the hour and minute functions and displays a large moon-phase indicator at 6 o’clock. Offering a 72-hour power reserve, it beats at 21,600 vph.

The Emperador Coussin XL Large Moon Enamel watch is fitted with a brown alligator leather strap equipped with a pink gold folding clasp.

The case of the gem-set version is adorned with 160 brilliant-cut diamonds (approx. 1.4 cts).
