SEM microscopic analysis of cross sectioned dentin samples from the water and calcium sodium phosphosilicate-treated groups at the day 4 time point from Study I was carried out to ex¬plore and compare the ultra-structural properties of any occlusion layers formed. Cross sectioning was carried out using an RMC ultramicrotome (RMC Products, Boeckeler Instruments Inc., Tucson, AZ, USA) equipped with a tungsten knife.
