Being famous and having a life film stars, well-known singers and famous sport people are one of the greatest dreams of every child and teenager. Some people opine that becoming a celebrity brings more problems than benefits while others are against this opinion. As far as I know, there are both advantages and disadvantages when being fame.
The greatest advantage is that celebrities are usually very rich and they have easier life than other people. They live in beautiful enormous houses maintained by housekeepers, gardeners, cooks and many servants.
Secondly, being a celebrity bring them such privileges as not pay in restaurants, travel a lot around the world and they can also afford the best clothes and drive the latest models of fast and luxurious cars.
Furthermore, they spend their holidays in expensive resorts, get the best hotel rooms and the most efficient service. In addition, when a celebrity is sick, he or she has certainly a private doctor and the best medical treatment.
However, there are several disadvantages that celebrities have to face up with. Firstly, famous people do not have privacy in their life. There are many paparazzi who follow them twenty four hours a day wherever they go. For example, a simple task like going shopping with your family can be something difficult because of the people that follow you take photos or ask you for an autograph.
Another advantages is that they might suffer from being under microscope of newspapers and tabloids. Therefore, they have to be careful about all behaviors and every single word they say.
Furthermore, as celebrities are followed by their fans, their behaviors can influence on young people. Thus, they should try to be a perfect model in all aspects for their followers. If they are always in this situation, it is easy to lead to stress.
To sum up, being famous could seem a great thing at the first sign, but you have to consider all of its bad aspects and how it can change your life, because your business is not only yours anymore, it’s everyone apparently.
Personally I enjoy living a normal lifestyle without worries of people watching my every move or watching for me to do something out the ordinary so that tabloids and reporters can have my face on every newspapers, magazines, and new channel in the world. I enjoy my privacy and wouldn’t want my privacy or the privacy of my family or friends to be invaded so, if I ever had the chance to become famous, I would pass on that oppotunity.
