According to Plato (2008), Business Ethics is ‘Form of applied ethics or professional ethics that examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in business environment’. Business ethics shows the respect of Xiaomi in doing business, the attitude of obeying the law, and corporate’s responsibilities in what Xiaomi is selling, and how responsible Xiaomi would take to protect the right, benefits of the consumer. There are three main acts of business ethics that Xiaomi needs to constantly maintain:• Environmental • Marketing • Health care & safety Environmental ethic is partly showed through the obeying of Environmental Law, Xiaomi shows it’s business ethic by avoiding to use the harmful materials, technologies that might cause negative affect to the Environment such. By protecting the environment, it’s actually the act of protecting the community that surrounding the Xiaomi’s business. In Marketing activities, the ethical activities also shown in the fact that Xiaomi does community-oriented activities such as charities, gift for children etc. Secondly, the Marketing activities also show its corporate ethics, as mentioned from above, a Marketing Strategy contains of 7P’s Components of Price, Product, Promotion etc. In every component, Xiaomi performs the ethical such as selling Redmi2 with exactly the price that has been published, or the product must have all of the functions – features which have been introduced. In Promotional, the real-product must be looking exactly with the Advertisment, or the promotional activities must be applied for all of people, not only for some of specialized segments etc. All of these actions show the ethic, and honesty from Xiaomi in doing business, and also in Marketing.Health care & safety is the last thing that an ethical business wants to aim for. Health & Care stands for employment-oriented of Xiaomi in the way business treats it’s employees. As the Smart-Phone Producer, the employee of Xiaomi might be get sicked by constantly working at Touching-Production-Line (Familiar with Foxconn), in addition, respect the Employment Rights, and the Benefits in HR also is one way that Xiamo shows it’s respect to the business internally. Externally, Xiaomi concentrates to the safety of customers, in ensuring the products won’t get explosive, or burned, or harm the user, and also, the Warranty Policies, Free-Fixing or Free-Change in case of Products’ Error from Producer etc. Eventually, All of the those mentioned aspects have partly displayed how Xiaomi should be following the standard of business ethic, however in some cases, doing ‘The right thing’ might limit Xiami in profitability’s, or market competitive advantages, but ethic needs to be constantly concentrated as the path-way, a standard to entering the new market of Vietnam, where Xiaomi hasn’t get so familiar with local people.
