Mr. Trevor Jenkins, Director Generalof The KraftHaus Group, a premiere UK company which specializes in providing excellentdesign, production, training programmes and research support to the aviation sector, based at London UK’s Stansted Airport,visited Vietnam in early June 2015 to learn about the aerospace industry in Vietnam and to identify opportunities for cooperation in this strategicallyimportant field.
During this successful 4 day visit, kindly and expertly organised by Luong Thi Xuan, President of GIA Khuong Co. to meet and work with the major airline companies in Vietnam including but not exclusive to, Vietnam Airlines, VASCO, VietJet, Mr. Jenkins had important discussions withall thecompanies visited in order to investigate opportunities for both the companies and The KraftHaus Group (UK) to mutually develop new business and opportunities in order to develop further the aerospace companies, activities and skills in Vietnam in a number of new projects. Importantly the key to a successful future with the collaboration between KraftHaus Group (UK) and the companies in Vietnam will be the design and certification of aircraft related products for companies in Vietnam which will bring enormous growth opportunities in Vietnam.
In addition to this will be the development of aerospace production, aviation management programmes, personnel training (from managers to apprentices) in Vietnam and awareness training visits to the UK.
Mr. Jenkins recognized the enormous potential of the rapidly developing Vietnameseaviation and aerospace market which is potentially very large and requires immediate attention to the implementation of a structured training programme of aerospace and aviationengineers from the expertise of KraftHaus.
Mr Jenkins was very impressed with his visit, the companies and people, and not least their kindness and professionalism which he experienced everywhere and from this visit he has instigated immediately further discussions with his KraftHaus Group(UK) and those companies he met in order to create real and visionary programmes to progress forward mutually.
