Traffic at street locationsThe AirGIS system requires that the roads are geographically correct and align precisely in relation to the building footprints in order for it to generate accurate street configuration and traffic data for the OSPM model. As a minimum digitized street segments must not overlay building footprints. Unfortunately, the road network of the New York Best Practice Model (NYBPM) is a generalized road network for traffic model purposes that is not entirely geographically correct.
