On August 30, Block B's Jaehyo took to his Twitter to request something slightly odd to his fans. SEE ALSO: My Feed: Get the K-POP stories that matter to you the most!In his first post, he wrote, "If your mom happens to be a kimchi artisan, please sell some to our dorm. Honestly. The kimchi we get at the mart doesn't taste good when we cook it. Requirements: 1. The kimchi must be famous in the neighborhood for being delicious 2. No scamming because I'm a celebrity 3. Someone who can ship reliably, I'll pay for shipping. No volunteering just for the sake of it, I mean it."He also followed up with, "If you send me proof that your kimchi is by a kimchi artisan via Instagram DM, I'll follow you and we can negotiate from there." Fan, noticing Jaehyo's odd request, must have started flooding his Instagram with DMs, because Jaehyo soon took to his Twitter again with, "Don't bring me kimchi, that's not why I wrote the post. I honestly will buy it. If you bring it for free, I'm going to send it back. The main usage for the kimchi will be stew and kimchi fried rice."Conversations between fans and Jaehyo regarding kimchi went on so fervently, that the term "our house kimchi" began trending on Twitter in Korea! To fans suggestions, such as "If you go to a restaurant, they might sell them!", Jaehyo replied, "I want to buy some from a regular home", or a suggestion saying, "Why not ask your own mom?" he said, "I'm sorry to my mom, but there must be better kimchi out there... probably..." When a fan suggested, "Ask the other members' moms!" Jaehyo wrote, "The members' moms don't receive payment so I can't do that." We hope Jaehyo succeeds in his hunt for good, homemade kimchi!
