The sun rose from its slumber as the sky turned colour from light orange to blue. It was December and God knows how cold it was. Mark woke up with goosebumps crawling all over his body and he shuddered in response. Still laid back on his pillow, his mind drifted to what had happened the day before.

The secret meeting with the lucky IGOT7s was held at night. Everybody was covered up in layers of thick apparel, why wouldnt they, it was 2 degreess outside! The boys pulled off elegant long coats and thick scarves, looking attractive as ever.

The charismatic leader, Jaebum was dominating the microphone, babbling something about their showcase. Shrills of excitement passed around in the audience while the other members were playing around. After a long day of practice, they decided not to focus much because focusing leads to hecticness and they had too much of that already. But then they still had sincere smiles on their faces and interacted with the audience.

Jackson was fooling around with Bambam, making ugly faces. As expected, though. Well, that was their specialty after all.

Meanwhile, Youngjae was making aegyos for his stans and waving to them every now and then.

Then.. There was Mark.

Everyone is well aware of Mark's behaviour. He's the quiet type, the one who talked the least during interviews, and just practically smiles and all, BUT the eldest tends to get the spotlight when he laughs. The high pitched and cute giggle may be the main reason why his stans adore the once-red-haired boy. Besides, he's GOT7's visual after all.

Stiffly standing there, the Tuan posed for pictures and basically smiled. He took a glance to his right just to see that Jinyoung was having fun with someone else who was n o t him. Yugyeom.

"Ya hyung! Stop tickling me!", the huge maknae exclaimed as Jinyoung tickled him all over. He knew it was Yugyeom's weakness. He's super ticklish! Yugyeom laughed until tears streaked down his face as his body sprawled out on the stage and a series of laughter could be heard from the ahgases.

Looking away from the scene, Mark was disappointed. And kind of hurt because of the fact that Jinyoung knew how much Mark felt out of place at this kind of event and Jinyoung would always be there beside him to talk and do everything to make him comfortable.

Well, Jinyoung was beside him alright. It was just that his attention was elsewhere. The elder questioned himself, 'Does he even notice?'. But he never got the answer.

20 minutes passed and the mic was in Jinyoung's hands now. He was saying something about the fans and Mark pulled his hand to say something about it too to Jinyoung. But the response he gave left Mark dumbstruck. Jinyoung looked at him and back to Jackson, and passed the mic to him. Not a word to Mark.

"Ya Jinyoungie, i was talking to you. Didnt you hear me?", mentioned Mark with irritation through gritted teeth (wasnt visible though).

"Eo? You did? Mianhae, what did you say Mark hyung?", said Jinyoung blankly. The elder just replied with an incoherent 'never mind' and turned his gaze away.

It had been enough of ignorance that he got from Jinyoung, he definitely didnt need another one.

"Ahhh, what a long day. Make sure to get a good sleep tonight, kids. Tomorrow's another day. Get in!", the leader motioned to get inside the van after a long hour of the event. Jaebum called shotgun first, so they went into the back. It was Jinyoung who went in first.

"Mark hyung, sit here", he said, a little bit too enthusiastically.

'Whats the use of sitting beside you if im gonna get ignored all over again', Mark thought and pretended not to hear the younger's invitation. Swiftly, Mark went to the back and sat by the window. He popped his earphones into his ears, leaned his head on the window, and shut his eyes.

Jackson and Bambam shot each other a puzzled look. Youngjae tilted his head, in questions.

'What's with him though', Jinyoung thought to himself as he looked at the elder. And of course, the elder couldnt see that.

Shrugging, Jinyoung faced infront. After a few minutes hitting the road, Jaebum turned on the radio and their seniors' Go Crazy blasted off. So much for getting rest, Im Jaebum. The members got all hyped up and started singing along, even dancing to their dance routine. Except for.. Mark.

He still had his eyes shut and pretending to sleep. Mark opened his eyes just to see that Youngjae got headlocked while singing go crazy (or shall i say screaming)...By Jinyoung.

'So much for wanting me to sit beside you, Jinyoung'. Mark shut his eyes and drifted off to Dreamland, carrying his hurt with him.

*knock knock knock*

"Mark hyung! Are you awake? Jaebum hyung asked me to wake you up", Bambam's voice was heard as he got back to reality.

"Nae, im awake", the elder barely answered.

"We're leaving in 30 minutes, okay. Get ready"

They were scheduled to meet up with their trainee friend in JYP, Shownu. They were all close until Shownu left JYP before debuting because he couldnt wait any longer and decided to quit, finding another agency. He would be debuted with the JJProject or even GOT7 (or GOT8 for that matter) if he were to stay.

..... The seven boys were anxious to meet their friend, after it seemed like for a quite long time since they last met each other, especially Jaebum and Jinyoung as they were there longer than the others.

As soon as they got to the venue, everyone hopped off the van and basically ran towards Shownu and gave him a group hug. With the shrieks, back slaps and loud questions, it was the epitome of riot. The people around them were already taking glances and giving weird looks. The boys really knew how to make a scene.

The boys and Shownu continued their conversation in a tv show where they were being interviewed. Shownu talked about how he left JYP and Jaebum talked about how Jinyoung and him were sad about it.

"When I found out that he left, I ran to the stairs and cried for how it seems like hours", Jinyoung stated.

Mark lift his head up. 'Wow. They must be really close'.

A tiny little question popped into his mind.

'Would Jinyoung cry too if I left?'

"Hyung, im thirsty. Can we go get some drinks pleaseee.", Bambam confessed to Jackson and made a puppy dog face in hopes of getting Jackson to accompany him.

"Ya, youre always thirsty! We shouldve brought a baby bag anywhere we go so you can drink your milk occasionally. Sigh, ka ja. Anybody else wanna come with us?", Jackson asked the other members.

"Me me, im thirsty too", Youngjae exclaimed, followed by Yugyeom, while others just shook their heads in response.

"Kids, dont forget to hold your hands in case you guys will get lost! And Jackson, please make sure they come back in one piece", Jaebum ordered jokingly but still emphasized on bringing them back in one piece.

"Nae, abuji", Jackson shook his head, playing along with the leader's overprotectiveness.

So the only ones left were Jaebum, Jinyoung, Shownu and Mark. They were strolling around the venue while cathing up with each other's stories. Well to be precise, Jaebum, Jinyoung and Shownu. Mark was slightly behind them bcs he didnt have anything to talk about anyways, as always, knowing how quiet he is. Mark just watched the three boys in front of him having a conversation. Seldom he tried to jump in the conversation and talk too but most of the time nobody really paid attention to what he was saying. What pained him more was that Jinyoung, who always gave him attention, who always claimed that he was his favourite hyung, ignored him once again.

'Oh well, another shtty day. Im out'

Mark came to a halt, turned around, and walked the opposite direction.

Jaebum who suddenly noticed Mark's silhoutte was gone, turned around.

"Ya Mark hyung! Eodiga??", JB shouted from afar.

The elder turned around and shouted back, "I dont feel good. Im going back."

It was Jinyoung's turn to ask. "Gwenchana?" Jinyoung only asked to see Mark's back with a thumbs up in the air, and slowly, he was out of sight.

"Do you think he's really okay?", Jinyoung asked Jaebum because he noticed that Mark had been acting strange lately.

He goes to bed early. With Jackson's absence, nobody really knew what he was up to when he was in his room.
He'd doze off by the window in the van just as soon as he got in.
He rarely spoke during meals.
He would seldomly join their movie time when usually he would be the first one one propped up in front of the TV with Coke in his hand.

And most importantly, Jinyoung noticed that his hyung hadnt been around him these last few days. They were always close, being around each other, but yet he seemed so far away.

"Im sure he's fine. Ka ja", Jaebum replied.

The thing about Mark Tuan is he lies a lot. And majority of the time, he gets away with it without any suspicion from the other members. Not exactly big lies, but small ones. Well, except for one lad. Jinyoung.
