Untrained persons must not open the station or remove covers. In case of a failure, please
refer to the trained inhouse personnel or contact the Aerocom service.
Special functions
Depending on the stage of expansion, your pneumatic tube system can have optional special functions such
as slow speed, speed dialing, priority function, empty carrier distribution, etc.
Please contact the person or department responsible for the pneumatic tube system if you need one of these
optional special functions or an operation instruction for it.
In the following the most important sending options are listed.
Send with constant address
The destination number is programmed by the service technician for sending with constant address. The
station only sends to this destination. The selection of other destinations is therefore not possible. All stored
carriers will be transported to that destination.
Send with constant address that can be overwritten
The carrier will always be sent to the programmed constant address if no destination number will be entered
when sending with a constant address that can be overwritten. You can change the destination number as
usual if you want to send the carrier to a different destination number. Put a carrier into the send unit. It will
now be transported to the entered destination. The station returns to its programmed constant address if no
dispatch was entered after five seconds.
Send transponder carriers to the recipient (automatic destination selection)

A destination number must not be entered when sending carriers with transponder. Simply put the carrier
into the send unit. The station reads the integral transponder and sends the carrier automatically to the
correct (programmed) destination number.
Send transponder carrier to home station (automatic destination selection)

The "empty carrier destination" must be entered as the destination number for the return transport of carriers
with transponders to the home station. Afterwards, simply put the carrier into the send unit. The station reads
the integral transponder and sends the carrier automatically to the correct (programmed) home station.
Send with slow speed1
The carrier can be transported with reduced speed if the content of a carrier must be protected. The function
"send with slow speed" can be switched on or off separately for each send unit.
The lower line of the display shows the current settings for each send unit.
The displays underneath of each destination number are valid for the respective send unit.
Therefore, the display
4:0 is valid for send unit 1 (left), 5:0 is valid for send unit 2 (middle),
6:0 is valid for send unit 3 (right)
A "0" (zero) after the colon means "normal dispatch".
A "1" (one) after the colon means "send with slow speed"
