Vietnamese impression in the eyes of American painter- Soraya Runkel
On the Evening of December 8th, at the Vietnamese Women's Museum, the Vietnam-US Association coordinated with the US Embassy in Hanoi organized the opening ceremony of art exhibition with title "Vietnam in my eyes" of female artist Soraya Runkel.The exhibition displays and introduces more than 40 paintings, with contents depicting the events since 1995, including the signing ceremony of the normalization of bilateral ties and opening ceremony of the US Embassy in Viet Nam.
Besides,there are also writings which describe the daily life in Vietnam such as brasserie on the streets, cheap rice, boat moored on the banks of the Red River, rural scenery, upland minority women .

Trên Tối ngày 08 tháng 12, tại Bảo tàng Phụ nữ Việt Nam, Hiệp hội Việt Nam-Hoa Kỳ phối hợp với Đại sứ quán Mỹ tại Hà Nội đã tổ chức lễ khai mạc triển lãm nghệ thuật với chủ đề "Việt Nam trong mắt tôi "của nữ nghệ sĩ Soraya Runkel.The màn triển lãm và giới thiệu hơn 40 bức tranh, với nội dung miêu tả các sự kiện kể từ năm 1995, bao gồm cả lễ ký kết năm bình thường hóa quan hệ song phương và lễ khai mạc của Đại sứ quán Mỹ tại Việt Nam.
Bên cạnh đó, có những cũng tác phẩm mô tả cuộc sống hàng ngày ở Việt Nam như quán bia trên đường phố, gạo giá rẻ, thuyền neo đậu trên bờ sông Hồng, phong cảnh nông thôn, phụ nữ vùng cao dân tộc thiểu số.
