On the external management device connected to the Routing Engine, issue the
requestsystemhaltboth-routing-enginesoperationalmodecommand.Thecommand
shuts down the Routing Engines cleanly, so that their state information is preserved.
(If the router contains only one Routing Engine, issue the requestsystemhalt
command.)
