Narrator's POV:

Hyoyeon was sitting on the end of her hospital bed, thinking about what happened between her and Jungkook. She also thought about how stupid she was. Looking around the room, she remembered how he said he loved her and how she said she loved him too. Was kissing back and reacting to the kiss the right thing for her to do? All thoughts about him ran around in her mind like a marathon, until she got snapped out of it.
"Hey, Hyoyeon." A female voice whispered to her.
Hyoyeon looked at the opened door to see an unfamiliar girl standing there, looking at her. She looked very kind and about the same age as Hyoyeon.
"How do you know my name? Do I know you?" Hyoyeon asked, not scared at there being a girl she didn't know in her room.
"You don't know me, but I know you. Kind of. I know what happened to you and that's enough." she mumbled, twiddling her thumbs, as if she did something wrong, "My name is Mijoo. She'll probably kill me for telling you this, but I'm being bullied by Naeun. I'm just not a person to get the courage to stand up to her though, so I keep letting her bully me." she choked, tears were forming in her eyes.
Hyoyeon just wanted to give her a hug and tell her that everything's okay and she doesn't need to be scared, however, she obviously couldn't because they don't know each other.
"What should I do?" Hyoyeon asked, concerned.
"There's nothing you can do. I just wanted to let you know that I'm here for you, after what you've been through because of her, I need to stay by your side now." she said, Hyoyeon's eyes were tearing up now.
"Thank you for that. I'll help you out, me and Jungkook will help you out." Hyoyeon told her, remembering everything about Jungkook again because she said his name.
"Who's Jungkook?" Mijoo asked.
"My best friend." Hyoyeon said, questioning whether he was her best friend or more now.

Hyoyeon's POV:

A few minutes after Mijoo left the hospital, I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was still alone in my room. Jungkook didn't come back. However, Jungkook's mother walked into my room, making my eyes widen immediately.
"Hyoyeon..." she said, sounding miserable and I could tell that she'd been crying loads.
"What is it?" I asked, I knew something was really wrong.
"It's Jungkook...He's been in a terrible accident. There was a car when he walked out into the road and right now he's in a coma." she cried, tears were streaming down my face like a river.
Why me? Why him? Why us? Why now? I couldn't get my head round it all.
"Can I please see him?" I pleaded.
"Sure, I'll take you to him." she choked, holding my hand, "You pair have been through so much. It's just not fair." she shouted hitting her head.
I was so worn out and when I got to his room, I became lifeless seeing him like this. I sat down next to him and held his hand, still crying lots.
"Jungkook. It's Hyoyeon. I know you can hear me because I could hear as well. Please wake up. Please wake up!" I was virtually screaming at him. I just wanted him to fight it.
"I'm so sorry! I did this to you! I made you leave the hospital and all this happened because of me!" I yelled more, until I felt really dizzy and my head started to ache. I passed out.

As I opened my eyes, I saw a doctor enter my room.
"You're awake, how do you feel?" the doctor asked.
"My head hurts." I replied.
"I'm not surprised... Don't you know that you need to rest? Especially recovering from a horrible head injury." the doctor told me.
I thought of Jungkook. Did he wake up yet?
"Has my best friend woke up from his coma yet?" I asked, with hope that he could've woke up.
"Sadly no. Don't worry, he's in safe hands." the doctor reassured me.
"I'm going to see him now, I don't care how sick I am." I said, a tear rolling down my cheek in the process. The doctor nodded and got me a wheelchair. He didn't want me to walk as he wanted me to rest.

Entering his room, I prepared the words I was going to say to him.
"Hello again. It's me, Hyoyeon. Please listen to me as I won't shout again after what happened to me last time...Please just wake up. Please just wake up." I pleaded, taking his cold hand and crying. I didn't cry much though as I knew that they're would be consequences if I did. My head needed to rest after everything it's been through.
"Come on then. Let's go." the doctor said and just as he was about to wheel me back to my room, I felt my hand being squeezed tightly.
I looked over and saw Jungkook opening his eyes and giving me a small smile.
"Jungkook! You listened to me...You finally woke up. You should have never stepped foot outside this hospital. I'm sor--" my speech was cut short.
"Shh, don't be sorry. This was my fault for not looking when I crossed the road. Anyway I said I'll always stay by your side remember? I'll never leave you." Jungkook told me, putting a finger on my lips then moving into a deep kiss.
Suddenly, the door to the room we were in flung open and we were interrupted in the middle of our kiss.
"Mijoo?!"

Hi guys! I think Jungkook and Hyoyeon are restricted from their "actions" when they're in the hospital, don't you?
Should I make them both recover quickly and leave the hospital in the next chapter?
Tell me your thoughts. Thanks for reading
This was originally meant to be a happy story, but that's not going as planned is it :p

Chapter 12: Jungkook is someone I've been noticing recently. Hyoyeon is my bias. Though their pairing is odd, I didn't find it weird.
