This deploys the ram air turbine or RAT. This is necessary, because the RAT
either generates the hydraulic power needed for the hydraulically driven
emergency generator or drives the emergency generator directly.
When the RAT is on speed and if necessary the hydraulic pressure is available,
the emergency generator is operative.
When AC electrical power is available from the emergency generator, it is
switched automatically to the AC Emergency and AC essential busses.
