After you click the Save button of the purchase form, the Asset form will be automatically opened. In the Asset form, you can see some of the information of the asset including the acquisition information carried over from the purchase transaction.

Complete the required information of the asset (the fields with the *). Note: For Depreciation, you can enter either the rate or the duration. The correct calculation will be automatically done. Click Save when finished.
