The side slopes are modelled in INROADS software considering the recommended slope angle
from geotechnical assessment report.
Therefore the soil volume is inclusive to the calculated soil volume.
Slope protection MTO for stone pitching and for concrete will be estimated in separate deliverable
document.

Amec Foster Wheeler can confirm that the existing topography has been modelled in INROADS as per actual survey data. The finished grade is also modelled in INROADS currectly.
Actual volume calculation was done by INROADS.
Amec Foster Wheeler does not guarantee the accuracy of the results of the INROADS calculations and nor is it part of our contract to do so.
We can however advise that the accuracy of the INROADS calculation results will be no less than BSR's suggested method of dividing the plot into a grid and calculating the volumes based upon a number of smaller blocks.
It is not however our contractual responsibility to explain our methodology to Government Authorities (if required).
95% is the requirement in the current BSR spec and it is recommended to use this value, especially for areas under roads and heavy foundations.
90% compaction may be use for the site preparation work however there will be more work to EPC
contractor to recompact the soil to satisfy 95% compaction requirement as per BSR spec.
