Good morning sir and everyone, today I will tell you about my new life at university, an independent life.
Like most students in the countryside, I harbour a dream to win a place at famous university in big cities. I tried a lot, finally my dream comes true, I passed the entrance exam of University of Technology. To study in this university, I have to start my living far from home.
I think living away from home has both advantages and disadvantages. The first disadvantage is that I will get homesick. In the short run, I can enjoy my new life, but as time goes by, I miss my friends, my hometown, my family very much. I miss the moment that I share with my family, the cozy atmostphere which always covered my home, and even those familiar things which used to belong to me such as : my room, my pets,... Another difficulty of living far from home is that I have to learn how to do things by myself. Step into a life full of duties, I have to worry about every aspects of my life. I have to do from smallest things like washing my clothes, cleaning my room from bigger things such as how to balancing my budget. On the other hand, living far from home makes me feel more independent. We all know our parents pay too much attention to us, and sometimes we don't allowed to do something we want to. Therefore, when we live far from our family, we can do everything we like. However without care of my parents, I need to take care of myself carefully because if I get ill, it will become very difficult to do anthing. Moreover, I have to learn how to control my life and my spending. I must know how to solve my problems on my own. More importantly, living far from home teaches me how to live in harmony with other people. I have to get on well with many roommates, and sometimes, bear with their bad habits. All above things make me more and more mature.
In conclusion, living awy from home brings me more advantages than disadvantages. So I should try and try to overcome the difficulties so asto enjoy my new interesting and memorable life at HCM University of Technology.
