7. Instruction manual
Press “POWER” key, if low battery, the LCD display will show “ - + “ symbol on the left side, then replace the battery. Choose the measurement function and range.
1) Closed angle gauge measurement
a. According to the number of engine cylinder, set function/range switch in “DWELL” range.
b. Insert the black probe into COM jack, and the red probe into V jack.
c. Connect the black probe on the battery negative connect red probe to the low voltage connector or the negative pole of ignition coil “-“.
d. Start the generator, the Close Angle gauge value will shown on the display.
2) Rotational speed measurement
- According to the number of engine cyclinder, set function/range switch in “TACH” range.
- Insert the black probe into COM jack, and the red probe into V jack.
- Connect the black probe on the battery negative connect red probe to the low voltage connector or the nagetive pole of ignition coil “-“.
- Start the generator, the result of Frequency speed will shown on the display. ( Rotational speed = reading value x 10 cycle/minute ).
3) Duty ratio measurement
- Set the function/range to “DUTY” position.
- Insert the black probe into COM jack, and the red probe into V jack.
- Connect the black probe on the battery negative connect red probe to the low voltage connector or the nagetive pole of ignition coil “-“.
- Start the generator, the Duty Ratio will show on the display.
4) DC voltage measurement
- Set function switch to “DCV” position.
- Insert black lead into “COM” terminal, insert red lead into V terminal. Connect the test lead to tested load or the signal source in parallel. The meter will indicate the polarity of the red test lead at the same time as it indicates the voltage reading.
• Note:
- Pop up the “AC/DC” button.
- Select highest rang at the beginning if the current value is unknown.
- When “1” mark is blinking indicated in the display, it means that the tested current has exceeded the range. Should select a higher rang.

3) đo lường tỷ lệ Duty

- Lắp đầu dò đen vào jack COM, và thăm dò màu đỏ vào jack V.
- Kết nối thăm dò màu đen trên các tiêu cực pin kết nối đầu dò hồng để kết nối điện áp thấp hoặc cực nagetive của cuộn dây đánh lửa "-".
- Khởi động máy phát điện, tỷ số Duty sẽ hiển thị trên màn hình.
4) đo điện áp DC
- Thiết lập chức năng chuyển sang " DCV "vị trí.
