As an expanding business, BGS needed to increase its workforce to meet customer demand.
At the end of 2002, BGS established the British Gas Academy. The Academy has helped to
develop and refocus training facilities to handle the extra training requirement in recruiting an additional 5,000 employees into the engineering workforce.
There are several training routes:
1. Apprenticeship
2. Traineeships
3. Technical traning
