Cable Trench excavation including the following related works:
(1) Survey and check of the actual site conditions of the cable routes shown in JGCS’s drawings prior to starting the excavation work. In case of any inconvenience (such as obstruction by existing facilities), the most suitable routes are to be selected with the prior approval of JGCS.
(2) Excavation of every description regardless of material encountered and depth of excavation.
(3) Excavation by manual and/or machine including test excavation.
(4) Provisions for dewatering and ancillary work to actual excavation.
(5) Protection/supports against other construction work or services.
(6) Transportation of soil to stock-piles and all double or multiple handling of the said soil.
(7) Maintenance of excavated areas as necessary until backfilling.
(8) Disposal of excess soil.
