The block diagram of the proposed control algorithm is reported in Fig. 3. From left to right from, the reference torque signal T* is first found. The flux linkage reference is determined from T* according to the Maximum Torque per Ampere (MTPA) strategy. The flux reference is therefore saturated to comply with the inverter voltage limit.
