Number of award(s): UBC Vantage College offers multiple awards.

Duration of award(s): The outstanding student award and entrance awards are non-renewable and available for one year. The Excellence Awards will be renewed for up to three additional years or to degree completion, whichever is less, provided the recipient maintains their status as an international student in Canada. Awards winners will have their awards reviewed annually to assess and update academic progress and financial need.

What does it cover?
UBC Vantage College Outstanding Student Award: UBC Vantage College offers awards up to $6,000 to outstanding UBC Vantage College students enrolled in the Vantage One Program.
UBC Vantage College Entrance Award: Awards ranging in value up to the full cost of the student’s first year tuition
UBC Vantage College Excellence Awards: Awards ranging in value up to the full cost of the student’s academic program and living costs

Selection Criteria: The outstanding student award is made primarily on the basis of academic excellence. The entrance award and excellence awards are made primarily on the basis of academic excellence but financial need will also be taken into account.

Notification: University will confirm receipt of application on or before February 13th, 2016 and student will be known by June 1st, 2016 if they receive one of the awards.

How to Apply: All applicants to UBC Vantage College are automatically considered for outstanding student award. For the Entrance and Excellence Awards, applicants must complete an application form by mail or courier, and also send scanned copies by email.
