Nowadays, child injuries are a serious public health issue Viet Nam. In 2007 alone, 7894 children aged 0-19 died of injury. Child injuries are increasing day by day. Death of injury is alarming in children in Vietnam. Leading causes of child injury-related death in Viet Nam include drowning, road traffic injury, poisoning, falling, burns and animal bites,... These injuries in children occur mainly due to the lack of knowledge about prevention of injuries in children and unsafe environment. As a public health worker in the future, I would like to make some recommendations in order to reduce injuries and neglect in children in Viet Nam as following.
enhanced the knowledge, awareness, responsibility for parents, teachers on how to prevent injuries to children. the best solution is communication and dissemination of knowledge for parents, teachers how to know detection dangerous for children and how to prevent injuries. Additionally, public health workers need to propose government to build the injury prevention program at the local, improving the system of care facility
Secondly, needing to improve invironmental conditions.Due to economic conditions, in Vietnam, invironmental conditions have lot of potential risk. For example: how to arrange the furniture in the house unsafe, dangerous places no barriers, no signs prohibited. The best solution is to guide parents how to arrange furniture reasonable, safe for children. Parents, teachers should teach children to recognize the dangers and how to protect yourself: do not touch the electricity, do not play by the fire, hot water. Public health staff to make recommendations to the local barrier, set banned billboards in dangerous areas such as ponds, lakes, power lines ..
In short, situation the injury and neglect of children in Vietnam is still in serious. I hope that these recommendations can reduce injuries and neglect in children in Viet Nam in the future.

Ngày nay, thương tích trẻ em là một vấn đề sức khỏe cộng đồng nghiêm trọng của Việt Nam. Riêng năm 2007, 7894 trẻ em trong độ tuổi từ 0-19 bị tử vong chấn thương. Thương tích trẻ em đang gia tăng từng ngày. Cái chết của chấn thương là đáng báo động ở trẻ em tại Việt Nam. Nguyên nhân hàng đầu của trẻ em tử vong do thương tích ở Việt Nam bao gồm chết đuối, tai nạn giao thông, ngộ độc, ngã, bỏng và động vật cắn, ... Những thương tích ở trẻ em xảy ra chủ yếu là do sự thiếu kiến thức về phòng chống thương tích ở trẻ em và không an toàn môi trường. Là một nhân viên y tế công cộng trong tương lai, tôi muốn thực hiện một số đề xuất nhằm giảm thương tích và bỏ bê trẻ em ở Việt Nam như sau.
Nâng cao kiến thức, nhận thức, trách nhiệm đối với cha mẹ, giáo viên về làm thế nào để ngăn ngừa thương tích cho trẻ em. giải pháp tốt nhất là truyền thông và phổ biến kiến thức cho cha mẹ, giáo viên làm thế nào để biết phát hiện nguy hiểm cho trẻ em và làm thế nào để ngăn ngừa chấn thương. Ngoài ra, nhân viên y tế công cộng cần phải đề xuất các chính phủ để xây dựng chương trình phòng chống thương tích ở địa phương, cải thiện hệ thống các cơ sở chăm sóc
Thứ hai, cần phải cải thiện conditions.Due invironmental với điều kiện kinh tế, ở Việt Nam, điều kiện invironmental có rất nhiều nguy cơ tiềm ẩn. Ví dụ: làm thế nào để sắp xếp đồ đạc trong nhà không an toàn, nơi nguy hiểm không có rào chắn, không có dấu hiệu bị cấm. Giải pháp tốt nhất là để hướng dẫn các bậc cha mẹ làm thế nào để sắp xếp đồ nội thất hợp lý, an toàn cho trẻ em. Phụ huynh, giáo viên nên dạy cho trẻ em để nhận những nguy hiểm và làm thế nào để bảo vệ mình: không chạm vào điện, không chơi bởi lửa, nước nóng. Nhân viên y tế công cộng để kiến nghị với các rào cản địa phương, đặt biển quảng cáo bị cấm tại các khu vực nguy hiểm như ao, hồ, đường dây điện ..
Tóm lại, tình hình chấn thương và bỏ bê trẻ em ở Việt Nam vẫn còn trong nghiêm trọng. Tôi hy vọng rằng các đề xuất này có thể làm giảm thương tích và bỏ bê trẻ em ở Việt Nam trong tương lai.
