3. Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA)

An ad-hoc Daily Subsistence Allowance (DSA) in the amount of 30% of the applicable UN rate for Ulsan will be paid as a contribution towards the expenses incidental to the travel abroad up to a maximum of four days. Sponsored participants can pick it up at the conference venue; they need to bring their passport and boarding pass, the Event Manager will provide additional information at the venue.

UNIDO will not assume responsibility for any costs, which may be incurred by the sponsored participants in connection with attendance of the Conference, including but not limited to the following:

• All expenses in the home country incidental to travel abroad, including expenditures for passports, and other miscellaneous items, as well as internal travel to and from the airport of departure in the home country;

• Salary and social benefits for the sponsored participants during the period of the Forum;

• Costs incurred by sponsored participants with respect to any insurance, medical bills, and hospitalization fees;

• Compensation in the event of death, disability or illness;

• Loss or damage to personal property;

• Purchase of personal belongings and compensation for damage caused to them by climatic or other conditions;

• Costs incurred by sponsored participants with respect to travel other than the costs of airfare and daily subsistence allowance as explained above;

• Travel and any other costs incurred by dependants who might accompany sponsored participants;

• Costs arising from earlier arrivals/ later departures for personal reasons;

• Other unforeseen expenditures
